HD Landscape

I was out and about looking for some new scenery. It is always fun finding new places. I found this little pull off on my way to a long and winding road. If I can ever get the movie that I made to post then that last sentence will make more sense. Enjoy these 2 pictures looking out over the Gaviota coast. Thanks for checking me out. Drop me a line and let me know what you think. errbotphoto@gmail.com

Weaving Wonder

Some shots of the scarf that my wife is weaving. It was fun to shoot the material as it was being made. Its also kind of cool to get to wear the stuff when my wife gets done making it. Ok, so I probably will not be wearing this one. It just isn't my colors. It is very cool the stuff that she can make and I am lucky to have her!

Past shots of Dave.

1 apple ha ha ha, 2 apple ha ha ha, 3 apple? I was looking back through some of the class work and am amazed at how often Dave was in my shots. These shots were from the specular/diffused assignment from PHT200. Thanks Dave.

Its Christmas time!

Yes that's right it is time for lights and presents and Christmas music and bows and wrapping paper and holiday cookies and chocolate Santas and online shopping to avoid the crowds and hot chocolate (with rum, yummy!) and good cheer and best of all being near loved ones so dear. I finally got a rhyme. Please enjoy these holiday pictures and Happy holidays to everyone.

Custom Harley Davidson

I did this photoshoot for a friend. He is a great car mechanic and does custom builds for motorcycles. The bikes are all custom builds by Danny of Autoworks. He will have a website soon and I will post the link as soon as it is up.

Dew Drop Inn

Here is a little play with some water drops. I took this early in the morning last month and have finally gotten around to fixing it up for display. I set up while there was still morning fog rolling in off the ocean and found the perfect little dew drops. Then before you know it there were this shimmering little jewels. Tell me what you think of the skinny format for the pics.

New blog site for my wife.

If you are into fiber arts and want to see the cool stuff Darlene is making on her new 48" loom then check out her new blog at www.thewarpweft.blogspot.com. She just has the introduction page up so far but as she makes pieces on her loom she will post images and talk about the joys and frustrations of creating her own designs out of silk, cotton, wool and other great threads. There will be lots of scarves, placemats, table runners, blankets and rugs in our future all made by hand.

2 Paths

Two Paths diverged before me and I being the crazy one took the path less traveled. Yes it has been a couple of months since my last post, but I have a good excuse. I havn't gotten my lazy butt out there and done the work. Okay maybe not that good of an excuse. Please enjoy this lovely little photo and tell me what you think.

You must choose

So here is the situation. Both images were taken within seconds of each other. You have a choice between the two images. The HD image you would be charged for. The none manipulated image is free. The usage is for a website promoting your product. Here is the question. Which would you use to promote your product?

Coffee processing

These images were processed using instant coffee as the film developer. The coffee process increased the contrast in the film and added a slight tone to the film. Thanks to specialty color services for the workshop.

The commute

Alright this one is not as creative as the TV one but it has been awhile since I have done a movie. This movie just shows my drive from Oak View to Santa Barbara. Thanks to AJ for letting me borrow some of his equipment to put the camera on the outside of the truck. As soon as I can get some new software I will try some more movies.

Thanks to Max

I did forget to say Thank you to Max for assisting me with the TV movie.

TV Birth to Death

I had trouble finding this movie file. It was not on any of my hard drives and I was beginning to wonder if I would have to call my mom to send me the copy I had sent her. I finally found a DVD that was tucked away in the back of a file box. So here is a little conceptual piece called TV birth to death. Enjoy and tell me what you think.

Introduction

Hello World,
Well this should be interesting setting up a blog and utilizing it as a test for a final website. I am not always that much of a talker, but sometimes you just can not get me to shut the heck up.
I will be posting images from my revised portfolio soon. So stay tuned.
