Dew Drop Inn

Here is a little play with some water drops. I took this early in the morning last month and have finally gotten around to fixing it up for display. I set up while there was still morning fog rolling in off the ocean and found the perfect little dew drops. Then before you know it there were this shimmering little jewels. Tell me what you think of the skinny format for the pics.

New blog site for my wife.

If you are into fiber arts and want to see the cool stuff Darlene is making on her new 48" loom then check out her new blog at www.thewarpweft.blogspot.com. She just has the introduction page up so far but as she makes pieces on her loom she will post images and talk about the joys and frustrations of creating her own designs out of silk, cotton, wool and other great threads. There will be lots of scarves, placemats, table runners, blankets and rugs in our future all made by hand.

I havn't gotten my lazy butt out there and done the work. Okay maybe not that good of an excuse. Please enjoy this lovely little photo and tell me what you think.

You must choose

So here is the situation. Both images were taken within seconds of each other. You have a choice between the two images. The HD image you would be charged for. The none manipulated image is free. The usage is for a website promoting your product. Here is the question. Which would you use to promote your product?

Coffee processing

These images were processed using instant coffee as the film developer. The coffee process increased the contrast in the film and added a slight tone to the film. Thanks to specialty color services for the workshop.

The commute

Alright this one is not as creative as the TV one but it has been awhile since I have done a movie. This movie just shows my drive from Oak View to Santa Barbara. Thanks to AJ for letting me borrow some of his equipment to put the camera on the outside of the truck. As soon as I can get some new software I will try some more movies.
